The DSR CENTER OF HOPE  is a 501c 3 non-profit organization established September 2008 in memory of Derresha Shar'daye Rhinehart. Shar'daye was an 11- year old honor roll student at Chester Park Elementary School who passed away in 2002 shortly after being diagnosed with leukemia. Since 2009, the year Shar'daye would have graduated. the D.S.R.
 Scholarship Foundation has awarded  over 30 students with scholarships

THE MISSION OF THE D.S.R. CENTER OF HOPE IS TO INSPIRE HOPE BY PROVIDING PROGRAMS THAT STRENGTHEN, EMPOWER, AND IMPROVE THE COMMUNITY

D.S.R.- Derresha Shar'Daye Rhinehart
Derresha Shar’Daye Rhinehart was born on the morning of Saturday, January 12, 1991; the only child to the proud parents of Derrick Antonio Rhinehart and Georgia Ree Young-Rhinehart. Derresha was known to many as Shar’Daye. Shar’Daye started her education at four years old at the Mt. Olive Community Kindergarten in Chester, SC.
